What Can I Expect At My Photo
Session?
First, expect to have a GREAT TIME, Because you will. It's OK to be a little nervous at
first,
but you will soon relax when you see we want you to really enjoy your session with us.
Plan on arriving 10 - 15 minutes before your scheduled time to freshen up & check your
outfits.
We will spend a few minutes with you to find out just what you want to do in your session.
Remember, we want you to have fun, and being late will only result in feeling rushed and
will leave
less time spent on your session.
Bring a CD or Tape of your favorite music, we have a great system in the camera room .
Be sure to wear your FAVORITE
outfit to the session to save time. Bring several other outfits, dressy, casual,
sporty, swim wear, uniforms, prom dress, etc. & we will help you to decide what will
photograph the best.
Don't forget to apply a little cover-up on those blemishes, it will make all
your photos better.
Don't forget you will view your portraits instantly on our
big screen monitors and you will be expected to place
your order and pay for it in full at the end of your
session... THEREFORE,
mom or a guardian need to be
there to help
decide on your portrait order...
We accept cash, check, Visa/MasterCard...
Most portrait orders will be ready to pick up within
24 to 48 hours of your session, That's "Digital Magic"..

so that "TOGETHER" we can create the BEST PORTRAITS you've ever had!!
What About A Suntan ?
Too much sun darkens your skin unnaturally, dries out your hair, makes your skin appear
shinny & greasy & shows bags
under your eyes. Strap marks will show as white marks on any bare shoulder poses. Keep
your tan even and don't overdo it. If you are burned, reschedule your appointment...
What About My Hair, Makeup, Glasses, Jewelry ?
Hair - Try to have your haircut and/or perm at least a week before
your session to give it a chance to "fill in".
DON'T try a radically deferent cut or style just for photos, "mom" may not like
it ...
Make-up (Guys, too)- Here's a quick hint that will greatly enhance
your portraits: Just before your session, stand 2 feet in front of the mirror, dab a small
amount of cover-up/consealer on any noticeable blemishes & apply some powder to take
away any shine on your forehead & nose & chin areas. That's it- if they are gone
in the mirror, they won't show in your portraits. If you are not comfortable doing your
own, we do offer a complete make-up and hair session along with a "complexion-
enhancement" for you guys. (ask for current prices)
Glasses - If you wear glasses most of the time, you'll want to wear
them in your portraits. To eliminate glare & reflections, call you optician and
arrange to borrow a pair of empty frames like yours, or have them remove the lenses from
your glasses. Most opticians will gladly do this for free if you give them plenty of
notice. This will totally eliminate glare & distortions and is the most important way
to improve your portraits if you wear glasses. It doesn't take much effort & it sure
makes your Portraits look much better!!!
Jewelry - Avoid wearing "flat" jewelry. It causes glare
and is very expensive to correct on each portrait.
What If It Rains?
If the weather is a real problem & you have scheduled for a split session (Studio
& outdoors), don't cancel your appointment. The weather may change by the time we will
be shooting outdoors and overcast skies are much better for portraits than bright sun. We
will reschedule the outdoor part of your session if necessary, but the studio session
should be done as planned...
How Much Money Should I Bring ?
Since we now use the Pro Digital systems, you will be required to
place your order at the end of your session. Be prepared to view your portraits on our
huge 8 foot screen & to place your order at this time. (Mom or Dad need to be here!!! )
Since we offer a variety of packages & options to purchase your portraits, we suggest
you pick up a copy of our Senior Portrait Price
List before your session. You can plan your budget in advance and be prepared to
order just what you need at that time.... Your order must be paid in full
before any portraits are ordered, sorry NO EXCEPTIONS...
SESSION FEE . This covers the cost of the photographers time with you & expenses of your portrait session. It does not include any photographs, but it does include the best senior photography available in S.E. Idaho !!!
